IT Manager (m/f/d) - Full or Part Time


We, GamesGroup, are an international publishing and marketing enabler for independent-minded, mid-size development studios, currently from 6 countries, of cross-platform (PC/Mobile) free2play games. The developers create games – we market and scale them and cover all administrative and legal aspects of commercialization. We create fans and monetize them. We are looking for a proactive and steady IT Manager who will help us ensure all daily operations run smoothly in a dynamic environment, continuously improve infrastructure, and lead the technical taskforce in a data-driven company.

Your Responsibilities:

  • 1st level support for roughly 20 people (onsite and off-site)
  • Constant cycle of reassessing and improving infrastructure and work equipment with updates, replacements, etc
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
  • Setup and maintenance of user accounts in a hybrid environment
  • Documentation is the foundation of all tasks


What you bring to the table:

  • Deep understanding of diverse operating systems and software (mostly Windows applications, but an understanding of Linux is beneficial)
  • Experience in maintaining local networks on a company scale
  • Proactive work ethic and take pride in supporting team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to stay calm in challenging situations
  • Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
  • Able to deliver tasks swiftly and precisely
  • Capability of managing time, tasks and priorities independently
